A 100 kWh battery energy storage system is one of the most versatile sizes on the market. It can carry a small business through an evening peak, store a day’s surplus from a rooftop solar array, keep a clinic or supermarket running during an outage, or partner a generator on a construction or event site. MPMC offers two families in this class: the stationary HBD-E Series, with an integrated solar inverter, and the mobile HBD-R Series, designed for rental and generator pairing. Choosing between them starts with one question: will the system stay in one place, or move from site to site?
Stationary 100 kWh Storage: The HBD-E Series
Three Power Levels on One 100 kWh Platform
The HBD-30-100, HBD-40-100 and HBD-50-100 each provide 100.4 kWh of LFP storage, with rated AC power of 30 kW, 40 kW and 50 kW and maximum PV input of 60 kWp, 80 kWp and 100 kWp respectively. Each unit integrates the inverter, PCS and EMS in a single cabinet, so a solar array connects directly without a separate inverter, and flexible MPPT configurations simplify array design.
Because the cell foundation is the same LFP chemistry across all three, a business can choose the power level that matches its peak load and solar array while keeping the same 100.4 kWh energy reserve.
Built for Daily Self-Consumption and Backup
HBD-E systems are CE and CEC certified, rated IP54, handle 150% overload for 10 seconds and offer 6,000 cycles at 90% depth of discharge, with aerosol fire suppression and anti-electric-shock protection as standard. Remote control by app or PC over 4G, 5G or WiFi and an open ESS Link protocol make them easy to monitor and integrate, and ten units of the HBD-30-100 to HBD-50-100 fit in a single 20-foot container for efficient shipping.

Mobile 100 kWh Storage: The HBD-R HBD-50-100
The HBD-R HBD-50-100 delivers 50 kW of continuous AC power from 112.5 kWh of storage built on LFP 314Ah cells, with HVAC cooling and 6,000 cycles at 90% depth of discharge. Its specialised rental structure is designed for repeated transport and site work, with up to 50% lower O&M cost, CE certification and compatibility with major generator controllers including DSE, ComAp, DEIF, Woodward, Smartgen and CAT EMCP. Paired with a generator, it lets the engine run at an efficient load point while the battery handles fluctuations, or carries the load alone during quiet hours.
Scalable in Parallel
Several HBD-R units can be combined for larger sites. In Australia, HBD-R units of 50 kW / 100 kWh and 100 kW / 200 kWh form a 1 MWh leasehold carbon-reduction hybrid project and a 560 kW / 920 kWh construction-site system, while in Chile HBD-50-100 units work alongside HBD-250-400 units in a 500 kWh mining storage plant.
